Camas City Council, Ward 3, Position 2 candidate Leslie Lewallen is proud to announce the official endorsement of veteran Vancouver Police Corporal / Field Supervisor and Clark County Sheriff candidate Rey Reynolds for her Camas City Council campaign.  “I’m honored to have one of Clark County’s finest law enforcement officials supporting my plan to bring open, transparent and effective leadership back to the City of Camas. Camas deserves better,” Lewallen said.

“I’m thrilled to officially announce my endorsement of Leslie Lewallen for Camas City Council Ward 3, Position 2,” Reynolds said. “I had a chance to meet with Leslie and talk about her visions for her city. Camas, let me tell you, this woman is smart, passionate, and she really cares about you and your family.”

Reynolds went on to say, “She’s ready to stand up and fight for transparency and accountability. She has a wealth of knowledge from her days as an attorney and believes Camas deserves better. She is a real leader and she will fight for what’s right…”

Rey Reynolds was awarded both Officer of the Year for the district and Officer of the Year for the State of Washington in 2020. Both of these awards demonstrate Rey’s commitment to Servant Leadership. He has served as a Police Officer in Vancouver since 1998, rising from rookie officer to Field Supervisor. Rey shows his dedication to serving the people by serving as a board member for Columbia River Mental Health as well as for Camp Hope. He’s also serving on the Vancouver Schools Equity Committee, and is a candidate to become Clark County’s new Sheriff in November.
