The Citizens of Camas wanted their beloved Crown Park swimming pool to be repaired or replaced for around $2 million dollars. 1500+ petitioned City Hall to do exactly that. The leaders said they'd listen.
Instead, they dug their beloved pool out of the ground, filled it in with dirt and grass, and told them they'd be happier with a $78 million dollar aquatic center at Lacamas Lake, built with borrowed tax dollars for 20 years.
