Last night, 50+ attended the Leslie For Camas Campaign Kickoff Event in Camas and celebrated Leslie Lewallen's candidacy dedicated to transparency, accountability, and leadership in her run for Camas City Council.
"I am honored and humbled by the support shown here tonight. But listening to the real concerns and frustrations of Camas citizens like I heard tonight, only strengthens my resolve that this campaign is the right campaign at the right time and I am the right candidate with the right background for this crisis in Camas." said Leslie in a post-party interview.
Guests enjoyed a wonderful food and beverage spread, and the warm hospitality of hosts John Ley and Liz Cline- followed by a powerful speech by the candidate and a lengthy open Q and A session that left most in attendance knowing exactly why Leslie is the CLEAR choice to represent Camasonians on the next City Council.
The night ended with a rousing live auction for a beautiful wooden American Flag art piece, as many guests stayed late into the evening discussing local politics and Leslie's solutions to current issues plaguing our community.
